Is there a way of identifying youth gang members before they
get into trouble? According to last night’s Waterloo Road (BBC One), there is.
They all speak in the most monumental yoof clichés. Ask your
granny to do an Ali G impression and that’s the kind of lingo they be talkin’
innit, blud.
Last night’s plot took up after a mid-series break that doubled
as the Easter holidays.
We began with the DSC crew (“It stands for… trouble,” said
Marc Benton’s feckless teacher Chalky) infiltrating Rochdale’s most
un-bog-standard comp, tagging their way round the maths room and wearing too
much hair gel.
Led by Mason (Kaine Barr), a tearaway fresh from Young
Offenders Institute, they all walked like they’d run out of loo roll, and their
mates had Staffies on chain leads.
waterloo road is the best tv
programme ive ever watched. for me it tops eastenders and coronation street by
miles. watching waterloo road makes me wish that my school was like that
nothing interesting goes on in our school its just boring and i wish some
teachers could be more understanding rather than shout at you they should be
like the teachers on waterloo road willing to hear your say instead of making
the situation worse because you havnt had your say. whoever aint watching
waterloo road WATCH IT!!! ITS THE BEST PROGRAMME ON TV I LOVE IT :D
